Reporting Crimes
For emergencies, call 9-1-1. To make a crime report, call Crime Stop at (602) 262-6151. The report may be taken over the telephone OR an officer may be sent to your location, depending on the type of incident. It is important to file police reports on all crimes that occur, no matter how minor they may seem at the moment. If we don't have reports, we can't develop a true picture of what is happening in your neighborhood.

Traffic Jam!
The Ahwatukee area has an over abundance of traffic during certain times of the day. To reduce frustration during your commute, plan on leaving home at least 15 minutes earlier than you normally do to allow time to deal with traffic collisions, construction, etc. If you are involved in a traffic collision on the street, call police at either 602-262-6151 or 9-1-1 if someone is injured. If the vehicles can be moved out of the street, move them to a nearby parking area to allow the other traffic to pass. If they cannot be moved, leave them and wait to the side of the road.

When such things occur, nobody likes to be delayed or have to take alternate routes, but sometimes it is required for safety of police and fire personnel.
